DECLARES ELIGIBLE DIVIDEND AND SHARE CONSOLIDATION
Toronto, Ontario, December 5, 2023 – Marquest Mutual Funds Inc. (the “Corporation”) announces dividends for the Marquest Mutual Funds Inc. – Explorer Series Fund (the “Fund”). The Corporation has declared dividends on December 5, 2023, payable on December 13, 2023, in the following amounts to shareholders of record on December 12, 2023:
Marquest Mutual Funds Inc. – Explorer Series Fund, Series A (MAV7100) – $0.15254 per share.
Marquest Mutual Funds Inc. – Explorer Series Fund, Series A/R (MAV7001) – $0.13831 per share.
Marquest Mutual Funds Inc. – Explorer Series Fund, Series F (MAV7011) – $0.14559 per share.
The above-mentioned dividends are designated to be “eligible dividends” pursuant to subsection 89(14) of the Income Tax Act (Canada) and corresponding provincial legislation.
The dividends will be automatically reinvested in additional shares of the same Series of the Fund, unless a shareholder has previously elected in writing to receive such dividends in cash; and the issued and outstanding shares will be consolidated such that the number of shares remain unchanged from the number outstanding immediately prior to the dividend payment. As a result, the net asset value per share will not change materially as a result of the dividend and subsequent share consolidation.
The Corporation encourages all shareholders of the Fund to consult with their financial advisors to understand the financial and tax implications associated with the dividends or contact their local office of the Canada Revenue Agency or provincial tax authorities, where applicable.
Marquest Mutual Fund Inc. is a mutual fund corporation that currently offers Series A, Series A/R and Series F Shares of the Marquest Mutual Funds Inc. – Explorer Series Fund.
