Carla, Bs.Business, MSc. Investment Management is the Business Development Manager for Western Canada. She partners with investment advisors to help them grow their business using alternative investments and tax-advantaged products targeted for HNW investors and business owners. She started her career in London, UK, where she worked at UBS Investment Bank as a collateral trader & Equity cash Sales covering pan-European stocks. She then worked for a corporate treasury, mitigating FX risk using hedging strategies. In Canada, she became a financial advisor with SunLife Financial where she helped her clients with financial planning, insurance & portfolio construction. She brings more than 10 years of experience, having worked on multiple sides of the industry.

Nadia Kazmi, BA Economics, is Regional Sales Manager at Marquest, helping investment advisors in Québec , the Ottawa Region, and Atlantic Canada. She has had increasing roles at Marquest over the last 6 plus years.  Her career in the financial industry spans over 27 years, in which she has progressively held a variety of roles in customer services and sales for BMO Bank of Montreal, Regional Sales Representative with AGF Investments and as Business Development Manager with NEI, covering parts of Québec, the Ottawa Region and Atlantic Canada. She has helped IIROC and MFDA advisors grow their business. Having worked in the brokerage industry, this has given her the full spectrum from both sides of the industry.
